Qualifications and Experience
Began lessons at age ten using the Mel Bay Guitar series, learning note reading and basic chords. Performed locally on the "Fabiano Musical Variety" television show. Performed regularly throughout high school years. Competed in the "Solo & Ensemble" competition.

Taught folk/fingerstyle guitar at Close Harmony Music, Wausau, Wisconsin while earning my Associate Degree in Music at a University of Wisconsin community college. Financed community college by teaching. Performed folk music locally on steel string in my home-town of Wausau, Wisconsin
B.S. Music Therapy
Spring, 1981
Completed B.S. Music Therapy from U. of Wis., Oshkosh with Guitar/Voice as applied instruments. Continued performing solo pop music locally on an "Ovation" guitar.
Daybreak Band
Summer, 1981
Performed summer of 1981 with a Campus Crusade for Christ, "Daybreak" Band along the boardwalk in Wildwood, New Jersey.
Master of Divinity
1984 - 1987
M.Div. from Western Seminary, Portland, OR. Focus on Interpersonal Communication. Kept up with piano and guitar between studies with occasional opportunity to perform.
Advanced Studies
2015 - 2021
Over a period of five years, I studied Classical Guitar under several of Minnesota's finest performers including Chris Becknell, Maja Radovanlija, and Daniel Volovets. I also enjoy performing at the Minnesota Guitar Society's, "Open Stage" in Falcon Heights each month.
